Biography

I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, and love calling St. Petersburg my home. Growing up with a single parent posed its challenges and opened my heart to advocating for vulnerable populations and empowering those in need. My very first job was with a law firm that practiced family law and I quickly learned that was what I was meant to do. Once I enrolled at the University of South Florida, I had an opportunity to further explore my passions for behavioral and community sciences and the law.

Given my socioeconomic background, I am fortunate I found the means to attend law school. I will forever cherish my time at Nova Southeastern University and the growth I attained in those years. Some of my accomplishments included: being elected to the Student Bar Association as the Elections Committee Chairperson, being chosen to join the school’s trial association, serving as President of the Family Law Association, and serving as Secretary of NSU Florida Association for Women Lawyers. I learned from skilled mentors during my experiences as an intern with a family law judge, a law clerk at an estate planning firm, a research assistant for a family law practitioner, and an intern for the Children and Families Clinic where I represented indigent clients in family law matters. I graduated fifth in my class and in 2019 I received recognitions including Broward County Women Lawyer’s Association Rising Star Scholarship, Dean’s Certificate of Professionalism, and the Silver Level Pro Bono Honors Award.

After law school, I was an attorney at a business law firm where my practice focused on creditor’s rights and contract enforcement across the State of Florida. In 2020, I joined Warren Law Firm where my practice is centered in family law, estate planning, and civil litigation. As an active affiliate of my community, I am a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, the St. Petersburg Bar Association, Pinellas County Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and St. Petersburg Business and Professional Women. In addition to doing what I love every day, I spend my free time watching sports, roller skating, indoor gardening, and exploring the good eats of St. Pete.
